  • Learn How We Work

    1

    Initial Inquiry & Discovery Call

Every service begins with a free 15-minute discovery call to determine:

    • What you need
    • Whether we are the right fit
    • Your timeline and readiness
    • Next steps

We do not share strategies or deliverables at this stage. We focus on building clarity, identifying alignment, and relationship-building.

    2

    30-60 Minute Consultation

If the partnership is a fit, we move to a structured 30–60-minute consultation to:

    • Gain a complete understanding of your context
    • Ensure strategic alignment
    • Define clear expectations
    • Define decision-making roles

This information forms the foundation of your Scope of Work in the Terms of Reference.

    3

    Engagement Agreement & NDA

Before any project plans or frameworks are shared, both parties sign:
    ✔ Engagement Agreement
    ✔ Non-Disclosure Agreement
    ✔ Non-Compete Clause

    This protects:

    • Your confidentiality
    • Our frameworks and methodologies
    • Mutual trust and professionalism
    4

    Terms of Reference

Once the agreements are signed, we prepare a detailed Terms of Reference within 3–5 business days. It includes:

    • The full project structure
    • Deliverables
    • Timelines
    • Methodologies
    • Reporting expectations

Work begins only after the Terms of Reference are approved.

    5

    Implementation

We implement all project phases with evidence-based public health practice, culturally grounded approaches, and transparent reporting and communication. We update clients at agreed intervals (weekly, biweekly, or monthly).

    6

    Final Deliverables & Close‑Out

At completion of service, you receive:

    • Final reports or products
    • A summary of outcomes
    • Recommendations for sustainability
    • An optional debrief
    • An opportunity to provide feedback

  • Frequently Asked Questions

Get more detailed information on questions from our customers and clients

Why does Regal State of Health Consultancy not provide detailed ideas or outlines before signing?

To protect the integrity of our intellectual property and ensure clients receive well‑developed, accurate recommendations. This is a standard practice in consulting, public health, and strategic advisory work.

Why does Regal State of Health Consultancy use a two‑step contracting process?

    To ensure:

    • Professional clarity
    • Strong intellectual protection
    • Fairness to all parties
    • Quality in project design
    • Transparency in responsibilities

This protects the client and the Consulting Firm, ensuring a partnership built on trust and alignment.

Why do I have to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)/Non‑Compete?

Because our work includes proprietary frameworks, culturally grounded models, research tools, and program designs. The NDA ensures confidentiality, and the Non‑Compete prevents misuse or replication without authorization.

What if I need help defining my project before I am ready to sign?

Our 30-60 minute consultation meeting is designed exactly for that purpose. You gain clarity on your needs without receiving proprietary deliverables.

What if my organization has its own contract template?

We are happy to review it, but Regal State of Health Consultancy’s Engagement Agreement and NDA must still be signed to protect both parties and safeguard our intellectual property.

What if I decide not to proceed after receiving the Terms of Reference?

The Terms of Reference remain the exclusive intellectual property of Regal State of Health Consultancy and cannot be used, shared, or adapted. You agree to comply with this when you sign the Engagement Agreement, NDA, and Non-Compete Clause. The deposit covers development time and is not refundable.

What if my project changes after we sign?

No problem. We issue a written amendment so both sides remain aligned and protected.

    When does work officially start?

    Only after:

    1. You sign the Engagement Agreement
    2. You sign the NDA/Non‑Compete
    3. We received the initial 50% deposit deposit from you
    4. You approve the final Terms of Reference

Can Regal State of Health Consultancy sign government or multi‑agency agreements?

Yes. Regal State of Health Consultancy works with national, regional, and international government agencies, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), private-sector organizations, and academic institutions.

"I asked Regal State of Mind to present on the topic of Mental Health in a Medical Law Course held at the University of The Bahamas. Miss Lightbourne's vast knowledge and personal experiences on the topic of mental health allowed her to communicate in a way that was easily understood and could be put into personal practice. I enjoyed how she related real-world stories to dispel the myths and stigma of having a mental disorder."

Floidira Collie, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons.) Graduate, University of The Bahamas

"You and the team should be very proud of your activities. From a technical perspective, this was one of the more challenging and risky water projects Mercy Corps has completed. Your professionalism was apparent throughout."

John Holroyd, Sr Engineering Technical Advisor (Water, Sanitation, & Hygiene), Mercy Corps

I wanted to extend my sincere thanks for taking the time to talk with me. I truly enjoyed our conversation, and it was a valuable experience to learn from your insights and expertise.

Hearing about your journey and the impactful work you’re doing has further inspired me, and I appreciate the advice and guidance you shared. Thank you again for the opportunity and for your generosity in sharing your experiences."

Dr. Merlin Jenitia, Master of Public Health (Behavioral Health and Health Equity) Student, Saint Louis University
