Learn How We Work
1Initial Inquiry & Discovery Call
Every project begins with a brief discovery call to determine:
- What you need
- Whether we are the right fit
- Your timeline and readiness
- Next steps
No strategies or deliverables are shared at this stage. Just clarity, alignment, and relationship-building.
230-60 Minute Consultation
If the project is a fit, we move to a structured 30–60-minute consultation to:
- Gain a complete understanding of your context
- Ensure strategic alignment
- Define clear expectations
- Define decision-making roles
This information forms the foundation of your Scope of Work in the Terms of Reference.
3Engagement Agreement & NDA
Before any project plans or frameworks are shared, both parties sign:
✔ Engagement Agreement
✔ Non-Disclosure Agreement
✔ Non-Compete ClauseThis protects:
- Your confidentiality
- Our frameworks and methodologies
- Mutual trust and professionalism
4Terms of Reference
Once the agreements are signed, we prepare a detailed Terms of Reference within 3–5 business days. It includes:
- The full project structure
- Deliverables
- Timelines
- Methodologies
- Reporting expectations
Work begins only after the Terms of Reference are approved.
5Implementation
We implement all project phases with evidence-based public health practice, culturally grounded approaches, and transparent reporting and communication. We update clients at agreed intervals (weekly, biweekly, or monthly).
6Final Deliverables & Close‑Out
At project completion, you receive:
- Final reports or products
- A summary of outcomes
- Recommendations for sustainability
- An optional debrief
- An opportunity to provide feedback

"I asked Regal State of Mind to present on the topic of Mental Health in a Medical Law Course held at the University of The Bahamas. Miss Lightbourne's vast knowledge and personal experiences on the topic of mental health allowed her to communicate in a way that was easily understood and could be put into personal practice. I enjoyed how she related real-world stories to dispel the myths and stigma of having a mental disorder."
Floidira Collie, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons.) Graduate, University of The Bahamas
"You and the team should be very proud of your activities. From a technical perspective, this was one of the more challenging and risky water projects Mercy Corps has completed. Your professionalism was apparent throughout."
John Holroyd, Sr Engineering Technical Advisor (Water, Sanitation, & Hygiene), Mercy Corps
